Cycling Is My Common Sense Exercise

I've always seen myself as being grounded in common sense. I am not the type to drive a car to a gym, just to get on a treadmill and then jog. I'd rather jog straightaway from my house, saving me time and money, with better scenery than the indoor sweatiness of a gymnasium. And so it's the same for me with cycling. I bought a bike, and I use it straight from my house. I don't buy any fancy cycle clothing or anything - I just wear a t-shirt and shorts and ride around for about an hour, going up and down some local hills. That's an hour door-to-door exercise - all free, no time wasted. I also use my bike to go the shops, saving me fuel costs too and giving me that bit of extra exercise. I'm always surprised at how few people there are out and about on bikes.
